The 2025 Traverse lineup sees an upscale shift by removing the LS base model and reintroducing the premium High-Country trim. New features include a Sun and Wheel package, fresh 22-inch wheel designs, and a now-standard Trailering package on the LT trim. However, Chevy has also made some cuts—the Driver Confidence package is no longer standard on LT and Z71 trims, OnStar Remote Access is no longer free for the first three years, and the Z71 trim no longer offers a cloth upholstery option.

The 2025 Traverse ditches the previous V6 engine in favour of a new 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder, producing 326 lb-ft of torque and 328 horsepower. Paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, the new engine delivers strong acceleration and smooth handling for both city driving and highway cruising.
Available all-wheel drive (AWD) ensures better traction on Ontario’s snowy winter roads, while the Z71 off-road trim provides an extra layer of capability with a tuned suspension, all-terrain tires, and skid plates for rugged adventures.
