What’s new for the 2023 Sierra 2500HD?
The 2023 Sierra 2500 Heavy Duty has large angular wheel openings, imposing lines and big beds with retractable assist steps. The trims run from the Pro to the Denali versions. These Sierra trucks also have large spaces with massive cabins.
The interior is very comfortable with great upholstery and also comes with an eight-inch touchscreen with a simple interface that works wirelessly with smartphones.
The one thing that does not come standard with the Sierra 2500 is automatic emergency braking. We believe this is a feature worth adding, especially on the higher trim levels that offer it.

Features
The Sierra 2500HD comes with high-tech capability, which offers auto electric-parking brakes, a two-speed auto truck-transfer case, traction select with tow/haul and off-road modes, digital variable steering assist and park grade hold assist.
The Sierra also has off-road suspension with skid plates; Rancho Shocks with twin-tube shocks and Eaton locking rear differential, which helps with traction for rugged terrain.
The vehicle also comes with a high-strength chassis and suspension built from high-strength steel using hydroformed rails at the front. It also has a clamshell design, which helps with stability when off-roading and towing.
The Sierra also has daytime running lamps, dual-stage front airbags, rear vision care, LED signature lighting, seat belt adjustable guide loops for the front row only and a teen driver configurable feature to promote safe driving.
Conclusion
The V8 gas-powered engine is suitable for lighter duties, but the optional turbo diesel is the reason for calling the Sierra 2500 a heavy-duty truck. If you’re looking for a heavy-duty truck for towing and off-roading, we strongly recommend the 2023 Sierra 2500.
